It is a great place to take your kiddos -- because the places they can explore are practically limitless!
Get outside and explore at Yant Flat
Hiking to the swirly wonderland is about a mile and half (one way)
JJ hoofs it up a sand hill
Harry checkin' out the weird elephant skin rocks
If you look super closely, you can see my kids to the bottom right underneath me :)
OK mom, ONE MORE picture. :)
From St. George: Go north on I15 to exit 22. Go 1.7 miles on South Main Street and turn left onto Silver Reef Road. After 1.2 miles Silver Reef Road becomes Oak Creek Road. Proceed on Oak Creek Road for an additional 2 miles and bear left onto an unnamed Forest Service Road. (This road has steep dropoffs and some clay sections. It is impassable when wet to all vehicles.) Proceed on the FS road for 7.4 miles to the trailhead.
The trail is an old jeep road -- you'll see that it is blocked off by some big rocks. Just follow this road a mile and a half to the edge of the Universe. You've arrived!!
Go and explore!
