:: Much better! ::

Harry is feeling much better today. He devoured a bowl of rice, bananas and apples and is really starting to venture out and try new things. Today I put him for a nap while fully awake. After an hour of silence I heard some music playing from his nursery. He managed to figure out how to make his glowie turn on. He was hugging Glowie and smiling when I went in to check things out.

More crawl practice runs...

Yay! an Itch Free day finally!

:: Game plan ::

Well today I think we're all feeling a little better about things. Harry is FEELING better and looking better and after a good cry and good night's sleep, we're a bit more rational today.

We are looking into options to build an outdoor house for our cats. It will have an indoor heated/air conditioned and a cattery attached. I think they'll be super happy here, considering they're already spoiled and know it. This will just inflate their egos a bit more .. "oh, a house for us? thank you! we knew were super special!"

We are also going to rip out our carpets and install laminate throughout the house.

And until Harry gets a bit older the dogs will stay in our back 3 cushy rooms.. the master bed, bath and sunroom. We are going to put in a doggie door for them and so they basically will still live the good life but their dander will stay off of the rashy boy! :)

:: D-Day ::

Today we found out some BAD.. very BAD.. news. Harry has been having frequent and worsening outbreaks of eczema. This latest one nearly had me in the ER last night (imagine a rash as red as grape juice all over your babies chest. OW) Anyhow, went to an allergist today and he is highly allergic to 3 things: Milk (a give in), DOGS, and CATS. Yep. How ironic right? We move to the middle of nowhere to embark on a job only one could dream of, working with animals.. and our son ends up allergic to them! Well, there is some GOOD news. We found out he is NOT allergic to RICE, BANANAS, APPLES, OATS, EGGS or SOY!

Here's Harry enjoying some apples! YUM!!

Allergies? What? I'm still a happy guy. Maybe we can get a pet lizard or snake mom! :)

Give me that spoon!

We have no plan in place right now about how we are going to go about our new path in life. But the main thing is to get the cats out of the house so it looks like we'll be building them their own magnificent palace in our back yard. And for the dogs? Probably more time outside and then their own cozy spots in our sunroom and bedroom.. at least to see if it helps at all???? man this SUCKS!

:: Livin' on the edge ::

Dawn came to visit us in Kanab today! Yah! What a great day... Dawn and Barnes, Steve, harry and I went to Toroweap and it was awesome. Harry liked the Grand Canyon very much. He's a dandy traveler and didn't peep the whole 3 hour trip there and back!

Just like daddy... matching hats!

Me and dawn toast to... not falling off the edge :)

Dawn and Barnes strike a pose... can you FIND them????

Harry is 7 months old tomorrow!!!
